Hotel Digital Marketing Advisor
As an innRoad Hotel Marketing Advisor, you will work with our growing base of hotelier clients to understand their product offering and implement recommendations to increase brand awareness and drive demand within their market.
Review target markets served by the property and perform competitive analysis to understand how the property’s offering stacks up against peer lodging facilities in the area.
Benchmark key brand metrics for our hotelier client base including review scores on TripAdvisor, Expedia, Booking.com and other travel sites and make recommendations to the property based on guest feedback.
Recommend effective marketing channels to increase demand including OTA’s as well as local sources (i.e. chambers of commerce, key events, local attraction websites, etc). Track results of all channels and promotions to measure success.
Review and improve the collateral used to market the property’s offering across channels (content, pictures, optimized listings, etc).
Review and implement Google Ad Words programs where appropriate to drive direct bookings.
Analyze past data and suggest promotional email campaigns to drive repeat business.
Review and improve guest communication templates to drive guest satisfaction.
Assist in managing social presence including communication calendar for channels such as FaceBook, Twitter and Intsagram.
Develop internal guest surveys to monitor guest satisfaction and gather feedback to improve future guest experience.
Conduct periodic sessions with clients to review performance, make recommendations and explain potential benefits to customer.
2+ years of digital marketing experience in the lodging industry (preferably with some experience at an independent hotel).
Ability to multi-task and work with different properties of different sizes and types.
Knowledge of hospitality sales and marketing including market segmentation, OTA’s, Ad Words, Groups Sales, Email Marketing and Campaign Management.
Strong analytical skills including proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills
Familiarity with extracting data from PMS systems for marketing initiatives.
